Comfort For Children When It’s Needed Most
Angel Bear is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing comfort to children during life’s most difficult moments. We donate small, high-quality stuffed animals to hospitals and hospice settings, where they are given to young children visiting loved ones facing a terminal illness.
These children are often scared and confused. A simple stuffed animal can provide a powerful source of hope and comfort during these heartbreaking visits.
Your donation goes directly toward placing these comforting bears into the arms of grieving children, assisting in their journey of learning how to cope with the unimaginable.
Our work is made possible by a community of compassionate individuals who believe, like we do, that even the smallest gestures of love can have the greatest impact.

My dad, Carroll Vogel, loved strumming his guitar around a campfire. This recording of his voice is one of the few I have and a rare and lasting source of comfort.
I created Angel Bear to offer that same sense of comfort to other grieving children.
Angel Bear provides a heartfelt gesture in the face of loss of a loved one. A soft stuffed animal is a comfort for a child to hold onto when it feels like everything else is slipping away.
